‘Speak up’ and ‘speak out’ are essentially the first doze of medicines in case of an unfortunate mishap, where you seemingly had no control.

‘Speak up’ and ‘speak out’ are essentially the first doze of medicines in case of an unfortunate mishap, where you seemingly had no control. Do not hesitate to share your experience post layoff with those you feel could be of help in many ways, not necessarily in searching an opening only.– Search and select such network and people keeping your health, hobby, dreams, aspirations, pain and agony in mind. Mind you, sharing your burden in mind would indeed ease your anxiety to more than half.
– Find ways of alternative living and livelihood. Perhaps, you never had an occasion to explore this aspect of your dream, when you were busy fulfilling your targets in employment. God is kind, an alternative way would definitely emerge that might satisfy your pocket and mind simultaneously. Such opportunity does not come quite often, utilise it.
– Walking in a scary situation voluntarily enhances your self confidence more than when you are dragged into it abruptly, especially when you are unprepared or un-expectant. It is always better to prepare yourself for any eventuality, especially during your honeymoon phase with employer. Thunderstorm seldom comes with prior notice.
– Control your mind. Never allow it to take control of your thoughts and ill feelings. There is always a silver lining behind every dark cloud. If you cannot see or foresee, it is your optical illusion. Clear your vision and look around. Perhaps, things may not be to your expectation or choice or standard but not worth trashing. Take the bull by horns and tackle the situation to your benefit. If you cannot take bigger strides, begin your journey with smaller steps.
– While taking control of your brain, you rewire it to reduce, if not eliminate fear and anxiety. You build up courage, gather momentum in positive thoughts and gain self-confidence. Gradually you start getting a direction to way forward and ignore negative environment all around.
– Taking your fears head on and taking control of the situation remove your fear and anxiety, clearing your blurred vision to give clarity in thoughts. You never imagined that so much opportunity existed for you.
– Follow these simple steps to overcome crisis.
• Enhance self esteem and confidence
• Improve relationship and communication skills

• Care you mental and physical health
• Identify and acknowledge your fears
• Start small but solid steps to consolidate the situation
